Turn of the Century French Louis XVI Style Chaise

A French Louis XVI style chaise lounge from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. This antique Duchesse en Bateau (chaise) from France, in the Louis XVI style, features ribbon and egg-and-dart molding, scrolled knuckles, and rosettes along the bottom rail at each knee. This piece is raised nicely upon four fluted and round tapered legs. The current lemon and white checkered fabric has some areas of staining, so we recommend it be reupholstered. This fabulous antique duchesse en bateau will be a perfectly elegant lounging retreat within a master bedroom, living room, or sun-room.
